The city never (hardly) sleeps.
Only the players, the star cast, the actors, the show men, the participants, the movers n shakers change according to the time of the day (n night!).
Earliest n early morning, The milkmen, newspaper vendors, tea stalls, morning walkers, fitness freaks, office goers, school children, idli vada dosa stalls, fafda dhokla farsan shops, vegetables market, autorickshaws, BEST buses, cycles, tempos, cars, company buses, vehicular traffic, police vans..
Udupi restaurants, all shops n establishments, roadside vendors, complete chaotic morning-day time, rush hours, traffic snarls, usual n routine regular hustle bustle.
Afternoon n Evening time brings out more n more near out of control situations @ll around. Peak time traffic jams. People all over the places. Returning from work. Flocking ever increasing variety of food stalls on roads, footpaths, everywhere. Mushrooming. Sea of people.
Early n late Night sees taxis, variety of vehicles from bikes to heavy vehicles plying on roads, bars n restaurants full of patrons, and mostly completely 'different' kind of people. In core areas n certain places night is equal to day, if you know what I mean! And if you know such spots n locations!

This (great) city never ceases to amaze me.
