In this era of E-retailing and E-commerce, a traditional n conservative production house can only survive with 2 basic, core things. One is The 'Product' n second is 'After Sales Service' (customer redressal apparatus); with @ll other things like pricing, marketing, quality control etc revolving around them.
The product HAS to be good, really good to compete with best available in the market. Technology plays a great role here, alongwith constant updation.
Complaint cell has to respond quickly n efficiently. Customer/Consumer/Buyer's trust n confidence is won, if instantly he gets an honest feedback.

It's perfect blending of Trust, Confidence, Commitment and Delivery.
Replace "Product" with any kind of "Service" and still, the above mentioned holds true!
