Opinion n Observation are poles apart.
One sees something n says something.
Seeing is observing, noticing, viewing n taking cognizance.
Opinion is inferencing, commenting, expressing views n making a statement.
Observation is unbiased.
Opinion is biased, mostly, in a way.
Observation is 'getting the picture'.
Opining is 'decoding a picture', deducing.
"Seeing is believing", is oft repeated sentence, as 'Noticing' is an image registered in the mind. Opinion is "Comments submitted for Check, Review, n Approval", in most cases.
That's why, 'a few stray thoughts and a few general observations, @ll my own work'.
