Whatsapp creators were innocent, I suppose. They provided certain statuses - by default - pre loaded, that they thought about, innocently; no controversies.



Just look at those:

~ Heythere!! I am using Whatsapp

~ Available

~ Busy

~ Can't talk, only Whatsapp (!!)

~ At the movies

~ Free

~ Urgent calls only

~ In a meeting

~ At work



But they provided facility for customised status. Very subtle configuration. Users also, have lapped on to the opportunity and used the Whatsapp status to announce their status of mind !!



Status is used to convey something.



Just look at some:

~ Always positive

~ Vacation time with family

~ Keep smiling

~ Back to Mumbai

~ Dubai calling



And what not.



Like

~ I am what?

~ Where am I?

~ What I am doing?

~ What I do not want to do?

~ How am I?



And what I am going to do?!!



A telepathy of a sort...
