Er Rational musings #430

Er Rational musings #430

Courtesy today's "Times Life...rev up your life!", a supplement of "Times of India".

Excellent eye-opening read vis-a-vis today's so called (happening) SocioPersonal Life!

JOMO (Joy of Missing Out)

You don't care about being present everywhere, doing everything. You enjoy the 'Here and Now' moment that you have consciously chosen.

FOMO (Fear of Missing Out)

A pervasive anxiety that everyone is having more fun than you and you are missing out.

YOLO (You Only Live Once)

Similar to carpe diem (seize the day), it implies that one should enjoy life, take risks, as you live just once.

YODO (You Only Die Once)

At first glance, it may seem there is no difference between YOLO n YODO. But YODO lifestyle is just the opposite. It's for people who are cautious, think of the future way ahead and want things in order before they die.

JOMO > FOMO

I'll be enjoying a JOMO month from 1st April. Let me try.

A much ado about nothing...
