Does this 👆 seem familiar? Since how long, we have forgotten to utilise these? 5-10 years or is it 35(!) years??!
These are the 'functions' of any 'Scientific Calculator!'
I had used it extensively during 80s, during my engineering. 'Casio fx81', to be specific! Still, many functions were unknown to us, let alone never being used! My favourite key was 'Memory In' and 'Memory Recall!'
I still have 'that' calculator, which was bought in 1981. It's working fine, absolutely no issues.
Prior to that, we were using log tables. And manual calculations, off course! Casio stormed and conquered the market. Literally. Was available in many sizes, thick n thin, handy, black or white.
Casio was to calculator, what Bata was to shoes and Colgate was to tooth paste (during earler years). Synonymous. One of the great, path brraking invention, pioneering one, paving the way for further technological advancements.
