असं घेताय का तसं घेताय...
म्हणलं तर सोप्प, म्हणलं तर कठीण
म्हणलं तर साधं सरळ, म्हणलं तर जटील
म्हणलं तर मज्जा, म्हणलं तर सजा
म्हणलं तर गमजा, म्हणलं तर फज्जा
असं बघताय का तसं बघताय...
म्हणलं तर दिव्यांचा लखलखाट
म्हणलं तर वीजांचा कडकडाट
म्हणलं तर लाल सोनेरी अंगार
म्हणलं तर काळाकुट्ट अंधार
असं वागताय का तसं वागताय...
म्हणलं तर छानछौकी
म्हणलं तर दुनियादारी
म्हणलं तर उडवाउडवी
म्हणलं तर जबाबदारी
असं म्हणताय का तसं म्हणताय...
म्हणलं तर "मला काय त्याचे" ही वृत्ती
म्हणलं तर "चूक सुधारतो" ही कृती
म्हणलं तर निव्वळ निष्काळजी
म्हणलं तर खुशालचेंडू "देवाक काळजी"!!
असं लिहीतोय, व तसं वाचताय...
दोन जणांच्या मध्ये सहा (इंग्रजी) आकडा ठेवला, तर तो, एकाला सहा वाटेलदिसेल, तर दूसऱ्याला नऊ! तसेच, दोन जणांच्या मध्ये सहा (मराठी) आकडा ठेवला, तर तो, एकाला सहा दिसेलवाटेल, तर दूसऱ्याला तीन!
सगळंच सापेक्ष असतय. आपला सुंदरसा दिवस सुरू होतोय, तर पृथ्वीच्या विरूद्ध बाजूवर काळोख *'उजाडतोय!'*
आपलं आज लक्ष्मीपूजन! लक्ष्मी चंचल असते म्हणतात. भगवती लक्ष्मीचे वाहन घुबड. ती जेव्हा एकटी येते तेव्हा उल्लू (घुबड = हिंदीमध्ये) बनवून निघून जाते. आणि जेव्हा ती भगवान विष्णुंबरोबर गरूडावरून येते, तेव्हा स्थिर राहते!
" मुकुंदी स्थिरावली लक्ष्मी जैसी ।।"
याच स्वर्गीय संपत्तीचा आपल्या कुटुंबियांसोबत सुखाने व योग्य उपभोग निरंतर चिरकाल घेता यावा, म्हणून आजचे लक्ष्मीपूजन.
भगवती लक्ष्मीपण सापेक्ष स्वर्गीय अाहे, असते, बर का?!! त्यामुळे मन:पूर्वक पूजा;
बाकी आहेच, देवी(!)क काळजी...

Er Rational musings #787
The huge n overbearing vacuum is filled with lively slumber.
The pale blue sky is beautiful. Birds are chirping. There is a slight n whispering breeze. Sun is basking in it's magnificent glory. You hear rhythmic sound of water, flowing water, in the background. You feel the soft touch, a feather touch onto your hands. A signal, a sense of arousal of senses! Get up man, reassuring silent voice fills the void.
Feeling light, you open your eyes and find yourself sprawled on a lush green table land.
Fresh dashes of hues of clear blue, light yellow, with a tinge of orange, dot the distant horizon. You do inhale a deep breathe. You submit yourself to the enormity of the nature, stimulating Attitude for Gratitude.
A drop of morning dew falls gently on your face, in anticipation n acknowledgement! Life is beautiful.
The morning forever...

SMS received by me:
~ On 30th & 31st Oct'16, that is on Diwali, SMS pack benefits & discounts will not apply on your Airtel Mobile. SMS will be charged as per your bill plan.
Sender of this SMS is my mobile service provider, Airtel.
That is OK. I shall continue to pay according to my data plan.
Likewise, if you have received such notification, but stating that SMS charges shall be different than agreed, on such holidays n weekends, then it should be condemned n opposed.
Why? Is it just? Is it reasonable? Is it proper? Aren't they supposed to provide us an efficient mobile network 24x7x365 basis? And charge us accordingly, inclusive of their proft?
Holidays are special. Holidays are for outings. Holidays are for and with family. Holidays are generally relaxing. and Weekends also, similarly..
~ Almost all Cinema theatres sell movie tickets, with rates almost double on Holidays n Weekends.
~ Hotel stay, Tour packages, charge us different (read @lmost double) rates during 'season', as compared to 'off season'.
~ Transportation n Tourist Travel fares are different (read exorbitant) during holidays. Air travel, road travel and now, Railways have jumped on the bandwagon.
These are only a few examples of demand n supply exploitation.
This is plain loot. In a broad daylight.
For example, why should ticket rates for same movie, watched on holidays or weekends be different? Are multiplexes providing us any different (n better) service on such days? On the contrary, the volume of business is more on these days and anyways, their legal earnings-profits are also more, on holidays n weekends. So, why?
This is applicable for @ll services, products, and entities, who have dual fares.
We are fortunate that many other services like
~ Eating, dining n drinking in same local hotel is NOT charged to us higher during holidays n weekends.
~ Auto, taxi n BEST bus fares in our locality/city are NOT higher during holidays n weekends.
And think about this exploitation and think about any other service like electricity, water, gas, and, roadside eating, cable TV charges, etc etc.
Let's consider ourselves lucky that such services are NOT charging us different (higher!) than their normal, prescribed, standard n routine cost. On holidays n weekends!!
Therefore, such exploitation should be stopped. Banned. Disallowed. Henceforth. Straightaway.

एकंदरितच phobia, फोबिया, हा शब्द म्हणलं की डोळ्यांसमोर चित्र उभं राहतं ते तसं वाईटार्थाने रूढावलय. पण,
Phobia is not @lways bad. Normally, we relate it to something like fear, dread, dislike, hatred n anxiety.
But it also means Obsession.
Obsession, generally speaking means mania, neurosis, addiction, fixation or craze. Bad words?
But it also means Preoccupation.
Preoccupation straightaway relates to oblivion, daydreaming, heedlessness or distraction of mind.
But it @lso means 'thinking n thinking of other things.
In short, 'Musings!'
So, if, A=B=C means A=C
Then, Phobia = Musings
Meanings of "muse":
~ As a verb: to muse is to consider something thoughtfully.
~ As a noun: it means a person, especially a woman - who is a source of artistic inspiration.
~ In mythology, muses were nine godesses who symbolised arts and sciences.
~ Muse can also refer to thinking deeply. If you muse @ something, you are giving it a serious thought.
~ It's the use of the mind or one's power of reason in order to make inferences, decisions, or arrive at a solution or judgments.
~ Different meaning is responsible for my various Er (abbreviation of Engineer) Rational musings, [pronounced "Irrational", but those are Neither/Nor Irrational]

आमची जाँईंट फँमिली; बरं, आठ बाजूंनी आम्ही गुजराती लोकांनी वेढलेले, तरी, टिक्कून उभे, मोठे प्रशस्त घर. मग काय? पाव्हणे रावळे, मित्रमैत्रिणी गोतावळा, पाजारीशेजारी, गर्दी गडबड गोंगाट. पूर्वी आज्जी - आई - आमच्या अहो, म्हणजे मायाबाई (व बाबांना!) या सगळ्यांना निरनिराळे पदार्थ बनवायची, स्वयंपाकाची प्रचंड आवड, आणि खाण्याची आवड असलेले आम्ही सारे, यामुळे दिवाळी फराळ म्हणजे एक अँन्यूअल इव्हेंट! अजूनही.
पोह्याचा चिवडा, रवा बेसन लाडू, चकली, शेव, गोड शंकरपाळ्या, तिखट शंकरपाळ्या, पाकातले चिरोटे, करंज्या, अनारसे, कडबोळी, वड्या इ. मुबलक बनवायचे हे सगळेजण. सकाळी, संध्याकाळी सगळ्यांनी एकत्र बसून, मध्यभागी डबे ताटल्या (डिशेस नव्हे) मांडून खादाडी! ओमss स्वाहाss
परंतु माझ्या दृष्टीने दिवाळीचा फराळ म्हणजे चिवडा, चिवडा व चिवडा, इतर सर्व तोंडी लावायला! कारण दिवाळी फराळ म्हणजे चिवडा, अशी माझी ठाम समजूत होती व आहे!
नुसता हादाडायचा हापसायचा!
सध्षा आमच्या अहो, म्हणजे मायाबाईंची लगबग चालू आहे. त्यांचा कामाचा उरक प्रचंड आहे; व वेळीच कार्य सिध्दीस नेण्यास श्री समर्थ आहेत.
तरी, या मंगलप्रसंगी आपणा सर्वांची उपस्थिति प्रार्थनिय आहे. हेच आग्रहाचे निमंत्रण समजून, समस्त सन्मित्रांनी व सन्मैत्रिणींनी (!), सहकुटुंब सहपरिवार व आप्तेष्टासहित आमच्याकडे फराळप्रसादाला यावे, ही नम्र विनंती.
शुभ दीपावलीच्या हार्दीक शुभेच्छा. तसेच, येतं नूतन वर्ष आपणा सर्वांसाठी सुख समृद्धिचे व ऐश्वर्याचे उज्ज्वल भरभराटीचे ठरावे, व आपल्या सर्व मनोकामना पूर्ण होवोत, हीच ईश्वरचरणी प्रार्थना.

A Pleasant personality, a Striking personality, a Bold personality, a Sullen personality, a Famous personality, a Charming personality, a Straightforward personality and so on.
Mind you, these are @ll Superfluous personalities!
Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde kinda personality rules the roost! But it is understandable, well to the extent; what matters is, whether it is by Choice or by Compulsion.

Power of 'S' (a deft swift double curve; no straight lines; no conjoined lines; points-ends, towards up n down; encompasses top n bottom; @ll in a single swerve!)
~Selectivity emerges from sincerity. (a la singularity)
~Sensitivity demands simplification. (a la shyness)
~Strength grows with suppleness. (a la sinewy)
~Shattering amplifies success. (a la surround-sound)
~Startling braces stupify. (a la striking)
~Superiority denotes sublime. (a la stupendous)
~Sharpness propels serenity. (a la streetsmartness)
And
~Smile measures stamina. (a la subjectivity )
